Care Instructions

Brass:
Brass can last a lifetime with a little care. When brass interacts with chemicals or gets dirty it can appear to lose its luster. To bring it back to life we recommend cleaning the item with any of the following:

1. Brasso (Top Recommendation)
2. Bar Keepers Friend
3. Twinkle Brass & Copper Cleaning Kit
4. Wright's Brass Polish
5. Blue Magic

Or try this effective natural remedy by mixing the juice of half a lemon with a teaspoon of baking soda and stir until it becomes a paste. Using a soft cloth apply the paste to the tarnished brass. If the tarnish is heavy, let the piece sit with the paste on it for 30 minutes. After rinse with warm water and towel dry.

 

SunsettaTM Sun Hats:
We recommend spot cleaning or machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Then steam iron the brim to regain its shape. 

 

Safari Hats:
Please handle the hat by the brim and avoid pinching the dome. Interior can be cleaned with a lightly damp cloth but DO NOT submerge hat in water. This will keep your hat looking great!
